It should not surprise us that the Chinese government, who has had a strict “one-child” policy since 1979, has performed 336 million abortions along with 196 million sterilizations and inserted 403 million intrauterine devices to prevent pregnancy. Because of the Chinese government’s policy of having only one child, there have been many forced abortions as well as horrible cases of infanticide. Most recently, a toodler was killed by family planning officials when they ran him over.Â
The great crime that the Chinese government is committing does not only span to murder of the unborn, but also to the damage they have caused in women by performing millions of forced abortions and infanticide. Steve Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, argues that it is because of this government genocide that women in China have the world’s highest suicide rate and breast cancer rate.
