Google Honors Leftist Union Leader’s Birthday…On Easter
If we still needed more proof that Jesus is not exactly welcome in our culture, Google decided to honor Cesar Chavez’s birthday on Easter. Their most aggressive competitor, Bing, at least has the Easter eggs theme up. But instead of just being neutral about it, they decided to honor the co-founder of the United Farm Workers Union. In 2011, our President declared March 31 as “Cesar Chavez Day.”
But this comes as no surprise seeing as how the CEO of Google is a staunch Obama supporter. He was an informal advisor to both of his campaigns, a member of the Obama White House transition team in 2009, and was prospected to be in Obama’s cabinet for his second term.
Google really could not think of anything else to put there on Easter?
