Sarah Palin Asks Students: Have We Forgotten God?

Written by Andres Ortiz on March 12, 2013

Sarah Palin Forgotten GodIn a speech last Friday at Southeastern University’s 2013 National Leadership Forum, former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin asked the students if we have forgotten God altogether. Besides talking about the problems in Washington, she urged students to “infiltrate” our culture in order to make a righteous impact for God through the means of sports, journalism, and film. She commended the university for teaching a Christian curriculum, citing Christian principles as the only hope for America to stay blessed.

Palin was recently under fire by a Texan atheist group, American Atheists. They put up a billboard misquoting her as saying “We should create law based on the God of the Bible” when in reality she said “we would create law based on the God of the Bible.” The organization later apologized and fixed the billboard but argued that the meaning was still the same.

Do you agree with Palin? Should we infiltrate our culture and change it for God? Have we forgotten God or is she just crazy?
