With Friends Like These, Who Needs La Raza?

It’s as if once the Left gets their lasers locked in on “destroy” after a conservative tosses his two cents into the cauldron of controversy, our side’s leaders can’t even remember why they ever spoke out in the first place.  They neglect key epistemological points, and accede to the enemy’s premises; that no one is to be offended; and that discrimination – prerogative of choice – is wrong (in fact, it is the highest morality when used wisely).

I’m continually frustrated by those on our side who say political correctness must go, while simultaneously they observe and enforce it, by accepting its terms and even chastising those of us who violate it.  What are they waiting for?  Do they hope their polite arguments will some day win the Left’s acquiescence to the idea, and practice, of tolerance being a two-way street?

The only way to really demonstrate opposition to PC is to openly violate it, thereby denying its philosophical premises and stranglehold.  Call people offensive names, hurt their feelings, and show everyone that you don’t believe in political correctness – not for the mere sake of calling them names and hurting their feelings, mind you, but for the sake of practicing honesty and reclaiming bluntness and heuristics as options, as tools in our rhetorical box (the left has no problem using such tools constantly).  If you refuse to do that for fear of being “inappropriate,” it means you actually believe in political correctness.  Which is it?  Do you believe in PC or not?  You say no?  Then don’t play their game.

Offend once in a while, and stay on the offensive, instead of letting them knock you back on your heels constantly and keeping you on the defensive.

Many key Republicans continue to grovel to Democrats, to the media, and to the rainbow mafia, going so far as to even adopt planks of their opponents’ platform on various issues.  It’s starting to look more and more like those of us with unwavering conservative principles are not only leaderless, but being outright betrayed.

For that matter, if Republican leaders fold on immigration reform, in the vain and delusional wish that it will somehow win the GOP favor with hispanics who vote (legally or illegally) in our elections, the remainder of us might as well hang it up.  If I have to explain why, I’m probably typing in vain anyway.

As far as Boehner goes, if he can’t simply tolerate someone on our side calling any of the countless invaders who violate our Southern border a name, I’d just as soon see him deported and thrown into the Rio Grande as I’d have him represent our side anymore.

That’s how disgusted I am with Boehner’s schmoozing with and snuggling up to the criminal Obama, as if Obama is some kind of innocent, yet mistaken, good-faith operator.

With friends in high places like that, who needs oppressors?
