IRS Abuses: Why Should You Care?

800px-MAD-alfie-1960Why should you care about the fact that the Internal Revenue Service broke the law and abused their authority in the targeting of American citizens?

After all, you’re a liberal Democrat. And it was only those “right-wing nut-jobs” who were targeted.

What’s that to you?

Probably nothing.

It’s also unlikely that you are even reading this piece, which is offered with the sincere hope that a Conservative friend might actually be kind enough to read it to you, something which many of you are unable or unwilling to actually do for yourselves.

But realizing that I am probably only preaching to the choir, I still choose to present this scenario to you, a bleak look into the future:

The year is 2014.

Obamacare is fully implemented.

You are a 40-year old man from Ohio, someone who is desperately needing a heart transplant.

A viable heart has been located in Michigan, following a grisly and tragic head-on collision, which took the life of a 27-year old, single father of one.

You are next on the list.

The tragic car accident of a young father is bad news for his child, but good news for you.

With the precious gift of this organ donor’s still-beating heart, you will now have the chance to live a normal and healthy life.

However, the IRS, which now governs the implementation of health care in America, learns that you are an outspoken Tea Party founder and activist. In addition, it is also learned that you openly opposed Barack Obama’s re-election in 2012.

Suddenly, this donor’s heart, your best chance at survival, is given to an illegal alien in Chicago.

Think it couldn’t happen?

Then you are wrong. Dead wrong!

The recent confirmation that the IRS had been targeting Tea Party members and Conservatives for audits and intimidation should show Americans the danger of placing this rogue and all-powerful agency in charge of the life-and-death decisions in regards to your health.

And make no mistake about it: The Internal Revenue Service, like every other agency of government, is most certainly directed by the President of the United States.

It is now.

It was in 1974, when Richard Nixon was driven from office for the EXACT same presidential abuses of IRS power.

When IRS officials deliberately targeted Conservative political groups for abuse, you can be certain they were acting under the authority of Barack Obama.

Moreover, IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman’s 157 visits to the White House, a number dwarfing that of Obama’s own cabinet appointees, would clearly confirm that his actions at the IRS were taken in collusion with the president.
