The War Against the Constitution and Christianity in the Age of Obama

Dixie County Courthouse

In truth, the war on Christianity started 2,000 years ago, and has been raging ever since.  It is escalating right now right here in  America.

As I wrote in my book Jan. 31, 2010 (page 216): “From the moment Jesus proclaimed himself divine, preaching in the synagogue in Nazareth, people tried to kill him, and the message.  Read all about it in Luke 4:14-30.”

For centuries the enemies of Christ, the enemies of truth, have fought to silence the good news of God’s love for all humankind.  Those wars were declared and fought by forces inside and outside the church for centuries.

And today, one of the chief enemies of Christ is the President of the United States.

Outlandish claim?  Consider the record: source – David Barton, wallbuilders.com, titled, “The Most Biblically Hostile President in History.

Listed are 68 documented instances demonstrating Obama’s clear hostility toward all things Christian.

Excerpt:

 (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations; (2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.

For decades, the far Left led by groups like the ACLU have waged war against Christ in courtrooms across the land.  I was personally involved in two battles fought successfully by Liberty Counsel in Florida recently.  One took years, involving efforts by the ACLU to purge all mention of Christ from public schools in Pace.  A respected principal, Frank Lay, and his athletic director were prosecuted in federal court for saying a 10-second blessing over lunch provided to thank boosters, off campus, no students present.  They faced dismissal, fines, loss of retirement benefits, and incarceration.  Thankfully Liberty Counsel attorneys secured their freedom and the rights of all Floridians to free exercise and free speech.

Another battle involved the posting of the Ten Commandments by a private party according to county guidelines in Dixie County at the courthouse in Cross City.   Again the ACLU found someone who was “offended”, sued, and lost, Liberty Counsel again leading the way.
