IN OUR FACE: Obamacare ‘navigator’ leader exposed as illegal alien, say watchdogs (Video)

According to a well-known “Inside-the-Beltway” watchdog’s report released on Wednesday, an illegal alien who openly defies U.S. immigration and work laws — and promotes such lawbreaking for others to commit –is being paid as an Obamacare subcontractor with U.S. tax dollars to recruit applicants for Obamacare.

In New York City, a group called Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York received “navigator funds” from the Health and Human Services Department, according to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that researches legal and illegal immigration in the U.S.

According to HHS, “Navigators conduct public education activities to raise awareness of the availability of qualified health plans; distribute fair and impartial information concerning enrollment in qualified health plans, and the availability of premium tax credits under section 36B of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and cost-sharing reductions under section 1402.”

The health education organizer for the Restaurant Opportunities Center is an illegal alien activist named Maria Marroquin, CIS reveals in a report. According to the CIS report she will be in charge of the taxpayer-funded Obamacare recruitment efforts for the New York organization, which is known to be a labor union front group.

Marroquin is an illegal alien from Peru who has been arrested for participating in civil disobedience when she protested the deportation of illegal aliens and she demonstrated in support of amnesty.

“She is a hero in the open borders movement who publicly came out in a widely distributed video as undocumented and unafraid. The 25-year-old also helped create a nonprofit that fights to enact amnesty measures and build ‘immigrant power’ in communities throughout the U.S.,” according to Judicial Watch, a public-interest group that investigates and exposes government and political corruption.
