GAY RAGE: ‘One Direction’ Star Under Fire From Crazy Gays For Admiring Duck Dynasty’s ‘Family Values’

Duck Dynasty has been mired in controversy since the show’s patriarch Phil Robertson’s homophobic slurs were exposed.

So when One Direction star Liam Payne decided to tweet that he was a fan of the show it raised eyebrows.

‘Huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan,’ he wrote, in a tweet to Phil’s son Willie on Saturday afternoon.

A gay rights campaigner tweeted angrily in response, leading Directioners to quickly jump to Liam’s defense.

Two hours later Liam clarified: ‘Being a fan of someones show and the way they still hold a family together doesnt mean i am ok with all they say.’

Incensed by the over-the-top Twitter reaction he then vented his fury on the social networking site.

‘Oh my god can someone literally not be a fan if a show without bring labeled?’ he asked.

And he appeared distressed by the personal attacks, pointing out that he was a normal 20-year-old.
