Ivete Medeiros, from the northern Amazonian city of Belém, was reportedly hit by the stray round as she was leaving a supermarket in the city.
CCTV footage taken moments after the incident shows her being helped back into the store as her husband calls for medical assistance.
After realising she was not bleeding she says she thanked God for saving her – although she admits some credit should also go to her underwear.
