OBAMA’S AMERICA: Cuts for Veterans, Government Checks for Illegals
As reported here at Clash Daily, the Obama Regime has granted nearly 1 million work permits to illegals, as in people who broke our laws by entering the country and continue to do so by remaining here. His prospective Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, says that they have a right, even an obligation, to work while they are here. That’s about right. Like all good Marxists, Ms. Lynch clearly believes that everyone has an obligation to work for the glory of the State, even if it doesn’t have a functioning border.
So now that His Royal Highness, Barack I, has unilaterally changed our immigration law, these “undocumented immigrants” can come “out of the shadows,” and not just to rabble rouse, march around in the streets waving foreign flags, and chant moronic slogans. Oh wait, they were already doing those things, making many of us question that whole “shadows” thing. Regardless, you, Taxpaying Sap, should be so lucky that these invaders limit their activities to screeching, obstructing traffic and otherwise protesting the unfairness and audacity of a nation trying to preserve outdated ideas like national sovereignty, borders and the rule of law.
No doubt you remember John Koskinen, the condescending IRS Commissioner who testified before the House Ways and Means committee and told them that Lois Lerner’s hard drives had been destroyed, a claim that later turned out to be untrue? Well, as they said in that movie where the ghosts were coming out of the TV or something like that, he’s back. This week, he testified about the government checks that are on the way to the afore-mentioned illegals. From the Washington Times:
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen confirmed Tuesday that illegal immigrants granted amnesty from deportation under President Obama’s new policies would be able to get extra refunds from the IRS for money they earned while working illegally, as long as they filed returns during those years.
Illegal immigrants who are granted the amnesty will be given official Social Security numbers, which means they can go back and amend up to three years of previous tax forms to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, potentially claiming billions of dollars in additional payments they were ineligible for before the amnesty.
Given our very solvent financial condition. it’s not like we can’t afford to give these uninvited guests a few billion dollars, right? It’s not like we’re in a lot of debt. Actually, it’s not like we’re in a lot of debt. We are $18 trillion in debt, which even in D.C.-speak constitutes “a lot.” Regardless, these illegals are going to be able to go back 3 years and claim their “entitlement” to a check from the U.S. Treasury.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that Barack takes a backseat to no one when it comes to his devotion to the U.S. military, and our veterans—just ask Dr. Jill Biden—the budget that he released this week includes a proposal to strip funding from a program that gives vets the chance to get treatment faster outside the troubled V.A. system.

President Obama’s 2016 budget blueprint proposes rolling back a program that gives veterans the right to receive faster care outside of the long waitlists at the troubled Veterans Affairs medical system.
Obama signed the Veterans Choice Program into law in August following months of partisan wrangling on Capitol Hill that finally led to a compromise measure to overhaul the agency.
The Veterans Choice Program was a key GOP provision in the deal.
Authored by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the measure provides “choice” cards to veterans that can be used to obtain medical care at designated facilities outside of the VA system.
But Obama announced Monday he’ll send a legislative proposal to Congress that would allow the VA to raid the program’s funding, now set at $10 billion.
Obama, in his fiscal 2016 spending blueprint, said the money is needed “to support essential investments in VA system priorities in a fiscally responsible, budget-neutral manner.”
Of course! If you can find a guy whose got a better understanding of fiscal responsibility than Barack Obama, I’d like to see him.
The issue of health care brings us back to those illegals. ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has good news for them. From CNS News:
An official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement testified Friday during a discussion on immigration detention facilities, hosted by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that transgender individuals are guaranteed “a right to hormone therapy.”
