DOES THE PRESIDENT REPRESENT US? Are ‘We the People’ About to Repeat Past Mistakes?
Sorry folks, but one of my New Year’s resolutions was to be more blunt, specific and direct in my writing and conversations. Yes, some people who know me well looked a bit concerned at my new endeavor, but people are just “beating around the bush” way too much in America and I am seeing horrifying visions of Hillary becoming president in 2016!
I am also seeing flashbacks of the last presidential election when people I greatly respect seemed to be making the assumption that Mitt Romney has the election “in the bag.” I didn’t feel like Romney was going to win and now I am hearing some I greatly respect assume Hillary doesn’t have a chance. Are we paying attention to all the man-bashing we have going on these days? All this nonsense is playing directly into her hands and I am not talking about the bashing going on behind the big microphones.
I suspect we are swiftly going down the same road we did with Obama. Making America feel guilty about its past sins that have been resolved is a great strategy. It really fools the low-information voters. These voters have to be the majority of voters if we keep electing people like this. Am I being blunt enough? Too many people were afraid they would be called racist if they didn’t vote for Obama and prove they aren’t. They had to forget about his shady past and their own suspicions that he really doesn’t like America very much and really is highly inexperienced for such a powerful position.
Obama says he is a Christian right? I honestly don’t care what he calls himself. This man is has been elected twice to the most powerful position in the most exceptional nation in the entire world. America has grown and prospered in leaps and bounds primarily because it was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Religion, morality and knowledge of these principles were encouraged at home, taught in our schools, and boldly preached from our pulpits. These ideas permeated the population and kept the society stable.
Of course, any great nation has its sins, but America has risen above them quicker than any other nation in the history of the world. Now we have a president who is bashing Christianity and equating it to Islam at the National Prayer Breakfast. How does this happen?
The Crusades happened over 900 years ago and actually were defensive wars. Christians and Jews were being persecuted and their lands being seized by Muslims! Slavery in America was abolished 150 years ago and we just elected a black president not once, but twice. If we don’t start paying attention and starting conversations about all this, I suspect we are looking at Hillary 2016.
Man-bashing seems to be the new trend that is rapidly permeating our culture. Making men look like fools is so common place now. This sickens me. The “men suck” attitude really sucks and should be highly discouraged not encouraged! We just have to give a woman a chance… Any woman! Just forget the Benghazi cover-up and Hillary’s shady past and past blunders. She is a woman and that is just so much better than electing another stupid man! Fellow Americans, I promise, we don’t want Hillary in the White House.
Our current president represents the antithesis of everything our nation was founded on yet the majority of the population sits back and criticizes him without even considering how he got elected. Do we want to live in an anti-Christian nation? If you answered, yes, then you are part of the problem. We the People elected Obama. I think it is fantastic that America elected its first black president but let’s do what America has done best in the past. Learn from our mistakes. We need to vote for qualified candidates that truly represent us, regardless of skin color or gender.
We elected a president that felt really comfortable bashing Christianity at the National Prayer Breakfast. What happened to America? If We the People don’t turn this thing around, We the People will be looking at our first unqualified, woman president in 2016. Hello, Hillary!
My grandpa used to tell us kids, “THINK, or someone is going to sell you for a penny and get change!” Obama and his cronies are selling Americans some major garbage and too many of us are being sold and getting change for a penny! We need INFORMED VOTERS more than anything. Please start today.
