#BLACKBRUNCH THIS: Protesters Stunned as Angry Diners Fight Back, Push Them Out
These #BlackBrunch protesters were in for a surprise when Brunch-goers didn’t take their ridiculous protests lying down. Instead, they fought back and countered their protest. To which #BlackBrunch protesters deemed as more racism.
Has anyone ever told them that people would like to have Sunday brunch in peace and that eggs benedict don’t qualify as racism? Here are some of the tweets from the protest. One of the videos even shows black people themselves being the partakers in brunch, how ironic:
The whole restaurant yelled and swore at us. A man followed us outside to keep yelling asking us if white lives matter too.

#BlackBrunchMN at Maynard's was so elevated and violent so fast that I couldn't even tweet or take pictures.

Just left a very hostile moment at Maynard's in Excelsior. Owners physically pushing us and snatching signs. #BlackBrunchMN

They said get out, chanted white lives, blue lives, put their hands on us. Our signs were taken. But I've been thru worse. #BlackBrunchMN
