CLASSY: Democrat Ex-Lawmaker Throws Vaseline at GOP Governor During Public Forum

Imagine if a Republican ex-lawmaker would have done this. The media outrage would be insane.

In an apparent political statement, an ex-Maine state lawmaker was escorted out of a public forum Thursday after throwing Vaseline at the state’s governor.

One official approached former state Rep. Joanne Twomey (D) during a public forum with Maine Gov. Paul LePage (R) when she began raising her voice, but the mood only grew more tense from there. Twomey, who was sitting in the front row, began to approach the stage where LePage was sitting.

Twomey didn’t get very far before state police confronted her. That’s when Twomey launched a jar of Vaseline.
