DEMOCRATS AND THE CONFEDERATE FLAG? Are They Trying to Bury Their Racist Past and Lies?

There have been endless calls among legions of Democrats to take down the Confederate flag In South Carolina and other southern states since the tragic senseless murders of nine church worshipers in Charleston, S.C. The demands have escalated because Democrats and Republicans as well as mainstream media have identified Confederate flag at the core of Dylann Roof’s motivation for shooting and killing the innocent black victims.

Whether a Confederate flag; which many regard as a symbol of 150 years of racial attacks upon blacks; can be realistically tied to the heinous action of a disturbed 21-year-old, is now up to a South Carolina court to decide. What is clear is that Democrats at the very least are hypocritical in how they have conveniently side-stepped their own connection to the racist Jim Crow, poll-tax, housing, voting, and job discriminatory practices since 1865.

The very inception of the night riders and the Ku Klux Klan was an invention of Democrats both in the south and accepted with great relish in the north as well. The tens of thousands of Democrat office holders who used both morally questionable legal as well as illegal practices to hinder the advancement of newly freed slaves and their descendants is a matter of record.

Yet the Democrats have spent the past days clamoring for the end of racism by way of Confederate flag; they seem to be missing the point. The flag, was a symbol which has been used as a rallying point for many southerners who practiced discrimination and even murder as a matter of course, but that uniform practice and rallying point is in the past.

The discrimination that has been practiced by Democrats is however, still alive, well and as vibrant as it was when they voted congressional session after congressional session since 1865 to block true voting, housing, job, and other legal resolutions to the terror and death which the night riders meted out against defenseless blacks.

One does not have to wonder what Hillary Clinton is trying to accomplish in the upcoming 2016 presidential election, when she uses racism as her go to fuel to inflame blacks and their liberal supporters. She has stated with almost comical clarity the need to take down the Confederate flag now, while when it mattered when her husband, Bill Clinton, was governor, the Arkansas state flag and what it represented was not troublesome at all.

According to The Daily Beast, in 1987 Governor Clinton signed a bill not only honoring the Confederacy in Arkansas but that the blue star in the state flag is to “commemorate the Confederate states of America.” That flag which Hillary Clinton had no problem bringing up as an issue in 1987 had been the state flag since 1924. Governor Clinton wanted to make it official.

By following Hillary’s logic, the Arkansas flag should be taken down and destroyed because it too may have been used as a candidate for creating racial hatred and discrimination in the hearts of white Arkansans. Here is a reality check; flags don’t discriminate just like guns do not shoot people. Disturbed people discriminate and disturbed people pull triggers on guns.

So banning a Confederate flag is nothing more than a hollow symbolic gesture when the true core of the issue of discrimination covert or overt is found in the hearts of people.

Democrats like Hillary and Bill Clinton have always wanted it not just both ways, but all ways when it comes to matters of race in America. Bill Clinton and his black supporters from political plantations all over the nation had no problem calling him the first “Black President.” Yet these same facts-challenged black voters and supporters did not bother to notice Clinton had never gotten any legislation in Arkansas that would have protected black housing or voting rights.

The bamboozled black voters have continuously fallen victim to the old liberal sleight of hand. Fifty-five years ago, they were told by their liberal overseers to believe President John Kennedy cared for black civil rights, yet he stalled on supporting legislation that would have improved housing, voting and job rights for blacks.

It has been nothing more than a long line of liberal lies and obstruction of the truth, and now Hillary Clinton, the NAACP and even President Obama still practice the old bait and switch. The Confederate flag did not pull the trigger ending the lives of the church worshipers.

The trigger was pulled again and again in every decade since the end of the Civil War. Democrats and liberals have always opted to find the easy way out in solving the issue of creating one America. It is their continued practice and embracing of creating racial separation by division and victimization that is the true racism.
