If you were wanting to try some online dating, this might just stop you from trying. What this man did to this woman is horrifying and the type of thing that you would usually only see in a horror movie.

Body parts including a foot and a head found dumped in a recycling bin in Seattle this weekend belong to a mother-of-three who disappeared after going on a date with a man she met online, police have said.

Ingrid Lyne, 40, was last seen leaving to attend the Seattle Mariners opening game with a date on Friday, and raised alarms when her ex-husband showed up at her home the next morning to drop off their daughters and found the house empty.

Her remains, wrapped in plastic bags, were still ‘fresh’ when they were recovered Saturday afternoon in a neighborhood about 2.7miles away from Safeco Stadium, an officer said.

Among the three packages found was Lyne’s head, which allowed police to tentatively identify her, a law enforcement source told the Seattle Times. Official confirmation of her identity is pending an autopsy.

Suspect John Robert Charlton, 37, who police believe was the man Lyne was meeting, was booked in jail on Monday afternoon while police investigate her murder.

‘We used some forensic evidence in dealing with telephone calls and cell towers and the usual investigative shoe leather that the homicide detectives in tracking down their leads on a regular basis. By utilizing those, we were led to a suspect early on,’ said Seattle Police Assistant Chief Robert Merner.

Police do not believe there are additional suspects.

Charlton’s criminal history includes convictions for misdemeanor assault in 1997 in King County, Washington and misdemeanor battery in 2009 in Idaho. He was also found guilty of possession of marijuana in 1997, but the charge was deferred, the Seattle Times reports. Charlton’s rap sheep also includes an arrest for theft in Missoula, Montana in 2009.
