Is The DEATH of Objective Journalism Seen In How They Report on Hillary and Obama?
Today’s mainstream media is a poor excuse for journalism. How sad, that what was once a reputable, objective, fourth estate has reduced itself to a ridiculous bunch of nasty foot-soldiers who take their marching orders from the White House. They don’t know what the word objective means because they exert all of their efforts on one thing…to protect Barack Obama and to promote his Socialist agenda. To do this, they lie, withhold certain news items, and constantly berate conservatives. They have surely fallen into the Chicago-style of thuggery which is the basis of this administration. There are still a few journalists who do actually report what is happening, but they are few and far between. The majority of mainstream media personnel are perpetuating a repressive, corrupt, elitist, government who doesn’t give a damn about We the People.
The sloppy, and one-sided reporting, of Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS scandal, Obamacare, and NSA surveillance, are only a few examples and are absolutely pitiful and revolting.
Now, during an election year, the mainstream media has continued with their biased, absurd, and frequently nasty “so-called news” regarding the primaries. The Republican nominees have endured all sorts of vilification in articles, interviews and attacks from the mainstream media bunch. However, Her Royal Highness, Hillary Clinton, has never been asked a hard question and they have neglected to bring up all the corruption going on in the Clinton clan and the email fiasco when she was Secretary of State. The fact that she’s been under investigation by the FBI is rarely seen in print or heard in interviews.
The once-prestigious New York Times has sunk to a new low in recent years. They have promoted Hillary Clinton and distorted the news to make her look like something she’s not. They like to show her as trustworthy, honest, caring, and a fighter for women’s rights. What a bunch of baloney.
Their recent article entitled “Crossing the line: How Donald Trump Behaved with Women in Private”, by Michael Barbaro and Megan Twohey was an attempt to portray Mr. Trump as an uncaring womanizer. The two so-called reporters interviewed several of The Donald’s former girlfriends from years ago, when he was single. It appears that these “reporters” distorted what was said, to achieve their objective of demeaning Donald Trump. Some of the ladies interviewed were furious because they said that they were misquoted and the words were twisted so that the interview would make him look bad. They claim what the Times wrote was totally untrue. How’s that for objective journalism, people?
The whole concept of a free press, as conceived by our Founding Fathers, was for a place where we the people could obtain fair and objective information. Unfortunately, that no longer exists in the majority of media outlets. They have been compromised and bought out by those who wish to ruin our republic. Think the likes of George Soros, who has attained tremendous power in the mainstream media.
Hey, mainstream media people, your mission is not to protect Obama or to promote his leftist agenda, it’s to investigate honestly and report objectively. My advice to the mavens of mainstream media is to get over your love affair with Barack Obama and the progressive crowd and start reporting the news truthfully. Until you do, do not call yourselves journalists…because you’re not! You are a disgrace because you have forgotten what real journalists do.
