Will Evangelicals’ Support of Donald Trump Lead to the Defilement of America?

With the news evangelical leaders met with Donald Trump yesterday to “discuss America’s future” came the sinking feeling the future is beyond discussion. Many prominent evangelical leaders announced they’ve agreed to serve on Trump’s advisory committee. A picture came to mind: a gathering of advisors in Jerusalem 2000 years ago to lend counsel to King Herod (Antipas).

Such evangelical boot licking confirms again a terrible truth: the American church is impotent and has been for at least 60 years. The church is irrelevant because it is no longer concerned about righteousness. If Christ returned today to drive the money changers from the national cathedral, he’d be arrested and charged with hate crimes,IELand the church would either ignore it, or applaud. Hirelings have no stomach for a real fight. The Gospel is negotiable. The true shepherds are few. Without vision the people perish.

Back in 1973 when the Supreme Court became a magic act, conjuring up rights and powers and principles from thin air, ruling a constitutional right to privacy is the foundation for legislating abortion from the bench, a pastor friend gathered evangelicals to plan the righteous response, asking: “How can we stand by silently while children are murdered by state edict?” (That was 55 million murders ago.) The response he received from the flock and so-called leaders: blank stares, mumbling, and bleating—“What can we do? It’s the law.”

Today, the news: OBAMA ADMINISTRATION FORCES CHURCHS TO PAY FOR ABORTIONS

EXCERPT: “The Weldon Amendment protects against state-imposed abortion mandates. But Obama’s Administration has again shown blatant disregard for the rule of law. This decision illustrates the far reaches of Obama’s radical pro-abortion ideology – forcing churches and communities of faith that have pro-life convictions to participate in and pay for a practice that dismembers and chemically poisons unborn children.” (So much for the law.)

Heed Churchgoers: Give 10% of your income to a church that funds abortion and tell us about your faith!

Endorse a presidential candidate that has been pro-abortion most of his life and tell us about your evangelical fervor for righteousness for His name’s sake!

Discuss America’s future and ignore the holocaust in your own back yard?

Insist we vote for Herod because Caesar is so much worse! (James 1:26—- “Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.”)

Lie down with dogs and don’t worry about rabies and fleas!?

Evangelical voters did not show up in 2008 and so we got Obama, a man so evil, he promotes partial birth abortion, a man so vicious he says children who survive abortion should be left to die, alone, in the dark. Many are strangled or smothered by healthcare workers who took an oath to “do no harm”.

Evangelical voters did not show up in 2012, and we got Obama, again.

Now, evangelicals appear to be showing up, only to support a double-minded liar who insures a Clinton victory, thus creating an Obama third term, guaranteeing an escalation of the holocaust and the complete demoralization of the society.

Evangelical leaders call this wise counsel?
