BLOODY SUNDAY: Guess How MANY Have Been SHOT In Chicago This Independence Day Weekend
Another holiday weekend in gun controlled Chicago means another weekend of shootings. Take a look at how many people were shot just this weekend alone in Obama's hometown.
A man was killed and at least 19 more people have been wounded in shootings since the start of the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The fatal attack also left another man wounded early Saturday in the West Town neighborhood on the West Side, according to Chicago Police.
Hector Badillo Jr., 31, was standing outside an auto repair shop about 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of North California Avenue when a gunman came out of an alley and opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Badillo, of the 400 block of North Trumbull, was shot in the neck and pronounced dead at the scene at 3:41 a.m., authorities said. Family members said his father owned the repair shop.
A 44-year-old man sitting in a car nearby was shot in the left leg, police said. His condition was stabilized at Stroger Hospital.

Do you think that Democrats should be protesting gun control instead of pushing for more? Here's what they plan to do if they don't get their way:
The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) is planning to disrupt the House when members return as part of a push for more action to stop gun violence, according to a memo obtained by the Washington Examiner.
The caucus said its members should be "as disruptive to Speaker [Paul] Ryan [R-Wis.] as possible next week" when the House gets back on Tuesday as part of a "day of action on the floor in regards to gun violence," the memo, sent to Democratic offices, said.
Members will give speeches pushing for more restrictions on the possession and use of guns, the Examiner reported. They will also attend a House Rules Committee hearing on Tuesday afternoon, where legislation on terrorism and gun control will be addressed.
