NEVER-TRUMP MEDIA: Wouldn’t Know LEADERSHIP If it Kicked Them In the ‘Nads
While reading and listening to the Leftist media’s criticism of Donald Trump’s speeches, it occurred to me that many of these schoolboy/girl journalists and commentators have little or no understanding of executive leadership.
Successful senior level executives focus on Strategy – Goals, Values, and Top-Level Objectives. They identify and hire colleagues with the ability to achieve their targets. And they monitor the performance of the assigned subordinates.
Successful execs do not get involved in the minutiae, but stay focused on the big picture – the problems and opportunities in front of them.
They understand that Goals and Values are not always achievable, but always provide a sense of direction and/or purpose, and guidance for behavior. They know that Goals and Values must be consistent with one another, i.e., not in conflict with one another.
On the other hand, successful leaders realize that Objectives support Goals and Values and must be achievable within a reasonable time frame.
Donald Trump obviously understands this, which accounts for his enormous success. Hillary, on the other hand, does not. She is a lifelong politician, obviously devoid of pristine values, which accounts for her unethical behavior, shabby history, and lack of accomplishments.
Donald Trump is an independent, non-politician Strategist and Goal setter, who will focus on getting things done quickly and cost-effectively. He will build an organization of like-minded men and women who can set and carry forward the objectives that assure success.
Like the non-politician Dwight Eisenhower, Donald Trump will be an outstanding President – and get the right things done – in making America Great Again.
