OBAMA BUILT THIS: Thug Shoots Female Cop Sitting In Her CAR – Then Goes On RAMPAGE

The endless anti-police rhetoric is obviously bearing fruit… Horrible and violent.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said Sgt. Sylvia Young, 46, was ambushed late Friday night and shot a number of times in the arm and upper body but she was wearing a protective vest so survived.

He said Ed Miller, a former police officer who is now a member of the police force at the University of Pennsylvania, was also wounded.

A note believed to be written by the shooter was recovered near Young’s car.

It allegedly contained rambling anti-police rhetoric and named a parole officer as a target, Ross said.

He said no words were exchanged between her and the gunman.

Young was struck up to eight times, multiple times in her protective vest and left arm.

The suspect fled, Ross said, and shot into a nearby bar, striking a security guard in the leg. The man then grabbed a woman and used her as a shield before shooting her in the leg.

Moments later, as police gave chase, the suspect shot into a car, striking a man and a woman in the chest. Police said the woman died and the man was in critical condition.

Details have not yet been released about the suspect, who was killed.

Two veteran police officers shot during a deadly rampage in West Philadelphia remain hospitalized while one of four apparently random civilian victims died following what police described as a lone gunman attack late Friday.

The gunman, who was shot dead in an alley after shooting his way across a few blocks near 48th and Sansom streets, was carrying a rambling note that declared hatred for law enforcement, Police Commissioner Richard Ross said.

“Clearly, we have a lot of unasnwered questions,” Ross said in West Philadelphia, where the gunman was shot and killed after an ambush and rampage. “This is a completely bizarre situation.”

Ross said around 11:20 p.m. a man walked up to Sgt. Sylvia Young’s police cruiser on 52nd and Sansom streets and opened fire on the officer.
