LAW & ORDER: Trump Announces CIA Chief & Attorney General Selections

With THREE big spots in his cabinet now covered, is Trump STILL ‘taking too long’?

Less than ten days after the election, Trump’s started announcing his major players. How’s that compare to Obama? (Obama, according to Wikileaks, had been building his list even before he won the election but didn’t make his FIRST announcements until November 24th.)

National Security had already been locked down with the appointment of Lt. General Michael Flynn. That’s a good start.

What was his next appointment?

There were two. Because… Trump is getting down to business. It’s what he does.

President-elect Donald J. Trump has selected Senator Jeff Sessions, a conservative from Alabama who became a close adviser after endorsing him early in his campaign, to be the attorney general of the United States, according to officials close to the transition.

Mr. Sessions was also under consideration for secretary of defense, creating debate within the Trump transition team over which job he should fill. — New York Times

The new the CIA leadership has also been announced.

President-elect Donald Trump has picked Kansas congressman and Tea Party favorite Mike Pompeo to head the CIA under his administration, Fox News has confirmed. […]

Pompeo, of Wichita, … is a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence and has been an ardent supporter of the Patriot Act and the National Security Agency’s collection of bulk data.

Pompeo was a vocal critic of President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran and has come under fire for what his critics have called anti-Islamic rhetoric.

Just like that. Leaders are being chosen. Things are getting done.

The question is not ‘will’ they be offended by each and every pick he makes, but what they will (collectively?) decide to bitch about for each one.
