The first Post-Election Saturday Night Live had Kate McKinnon dressed as Hillary signing the late Leonard Cohen’s song ‘Hallelujah’. That video went viral. This one NEEDS to…
Remy Munasifi of Reason magazine wrote a hilarious parody of the left’s hysteria about Trump’s electoral victory.
Remy has been making parody videos for quite a while, but he’s really outdone himself this time!
His witty lyrics point out that the many concerns that the Left has about Trump are things that Obama has already done.
The Democrats that are running to safe spaces (when they’re not rioting,) are concerned about a demagogue, but we’ve already had one for 8 years!
For your enjoyment, here are the lyrics in full:
I heard the news and I was sad
A crazy man who’ll power grab
He’ll probably bomb countries unapproved, yeah
The debt will double — won’t abate
He’ll build up the surveillance state
I guess it won’t be all that different, ooh yeah.
He might be so awful, so unhinged
Defense secretaries leave and then
Imply his White House knows not what to do, yeah
He’ll wage a war on whistle blows
There may be unexpected gropes
He’d be that nightmare they call “deja vu,” yeah
He might take the data from our phones
Have citizens killed by flying drones
Mock the disabled, oh no, we’ll be through, yeah
So if you’re mad and on the streets
Concerned about this overreach
Well, where’ve you been? It isn’t all that new, yeah
Stick that in your bong and smoke it, you lefties!
Remy was parodying Kate McKinnon dressed as Hillary singing ‘Hallelujah’.
At the end of the SNL bit, ‘Hillary’ looked directly into the camera and said, ‘I’m not giving up, and neither should you.’
Awwww… the poor babies!
These are the same people who were concerned about Trump accepting the results and the ‘peaceful transition of power’ if Hillary won.
In case you missed it, here is the sad SNL opening:
