But that’s exactly what colleges and universities have become — little echo-chambers of neo-Marxism.
Renowned Harvard Business School professor, Clayton Christensen predicts that half of the colleges and universities in the United States are headed for bankruptcy in the next few years.
There are over 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States, but Harvard Business School professor Clayton Christensen says that half are bound for bankruptcy in the next few decades.
Christensen is known for coining the theory of disruptive innovation in his 1997 book, “The Innovator’s Dilemma.” Since then, he has applied his theory of disruption to a wide range of industries, including education.

In his recent book, “The Innovative University,” Christensen and co-author Henry Eyring analyze the future of traditional universities, and conclude that online education will become a more cost-effective way for students to receive an education, effectively undermining the business models of traditional institutions and running them out of business.
At the Innovation + Disruption Symposium in Higher Education in May, Christensen specifically predicted that “50 percent of the 4,000 colleges and universities in the U.S. will be bankrupt in 10 to 15 years.”…
…Christensen is not alone in thinking that online educational resources will cause traditional colleges and universities to close. The U.S. Department of Education and Moody’s Investors Service project that in the coming years, closure rates of small colleges and universities will triple, and mergers will double.

This is fantastic news.
The Left has monopolized the institutions of higher learning and made it increasingly difficult for anyone to critique or even question the Marxist, leftist ideology that is touted there.
We have seen that conservatives aren’t allowed to speak on campus.
And when they try to, it causes riots from angry leftists that want to shut down free speech.
The Canadian professor that has refused to use made up ‘gender-neutral’ pronouns and is a massively influential voice for conservatives, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson has said as much.
He calls university education a ‘scam’ and institutions of so-called ‘higher learning’ what they really are — ‘indoctrination cults’.
He’s moving towards creating a lower-cost, higher quality online university option for students.
Peterson has emphasized his desire to provide students with better and more affordable education. “There is absolutely no reason why high quality education can’t be made available to masses of people at low cost,” said Peterson in a recent interview on CTV’s Your Morning. “I think it’s a scam pretty much from top to bottom and it’s a very expensive scam.”
Peterson also expressed that his online university would be an alternative to traditional universities, which he believes “have abandoned the humanities.”
“About 80 percent of the humanities papers are never cited once and the humanities have been dominated by a kind of postmodern neo-Marxist, cult ideology,” said Peterson. “[The humanities have] abandoned their mission to students. Their mission should be to teach students to speak, to think, and to read, and to become familiar with the best of the world fundamentally.”

And then, they’d have no leftist college administration to protest against.
Maybe — just maybe, we’d see the end of the phrase ‘safe space’.
