Shots fired! Betcha Oprah didn’t expect that smackdown!
Looks like at least ONE Celebrity isn’t buying what Oprah is slinging.

SEAL doesn’t take her ‘MeToo’ as courageous at all.
In a fiery Instagram post Wednesday, Seal republished a pair of photos of Winfrey with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, including one in which she appears to be kissing the producer’s cheek. Overlayed on the photos, in all-caps, is the text: “When you have been part of the problem for decades, but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”
Seal added a sarcastic comment to the right of the photographs that suggested Winfrey knew Weinstein was mistreating women.
“Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad,” Seal wrote.

That’s not the only open criticism that their MeToo posturing is getting from Celebrites. In France, where romance is something of a national pastime, there is an open letter condemning the MeToo movement for going too far. They acknowledge the horror of what predators like Weinstein have done, without lumping all men in the same category:
Sexual violence is not ‘intensified flirting,'” they wrote. “One means treating the other as your equal, respecting their desires, whatever they may be. The other is treating them as an object at your disposal, paying no attention to their own desires, or their consent.”
…To make matters worse, they wrote, “the movement chains women to the status of the eternal victim” by framing them as “poor little things who are dominated by demon phallocrats.”
Not only that, but the movement has spawned a wave of hatred toward the accused, they said, who are mentioned in the same breath as sexual aggressors without being given the chance to defend themselves.

Not only is Oprah selective in which monsters she is willing to denounce, but the movement she’s backing does not allow for the presumption of innocence, either.
And now that we have seen accusations leveraged for political gain, this is a looming problem.
