Wild Boar Attack Caught On Video! Here’s Why You Should Carry A Gun Everywhere You Go!

It’s one of those moments where the gun debate stops being academic. It was a matter of life-and-death.

Where they are, nobody has a gun. Nobody is allowed one.

It’s great for keeping people from organizing a revolution, against their Marxist rulers but it leaves the poor citizens sitting ducks if the local wildlife gets ornery.

And that’s what happened here. A man was charged by a boar, and all they had to fend it off were shovels and brooms.

(Generally speaking, unless you are cleaning the floor, broom handles don’t generally make good tools. This dumb criminal learned that lesson the hard way — video.)

The man was attacked on Wednesday outside his home in a village near Ankang in Shaanxi province, Beijing Youth Dailyreported.

Footage from a surveillance camera showed people trying to force the boar away from the injured man.

The animal later attacked and injured a woman, the dead man’s daughter-in-law, who was talking on a mobile phone.

…Villagers are uncertain about how to handle future attacks.

“We are not allowed to hunt and kill wild boars without a hunting licence. Villagers can only be careful and try to escape,” Li said.

They’re looking for compensation from the government for the attack. It goes without saying that they would rather he had survived the encounter in the first place.

As one person said in the comments:

This happened in rural China. No one owns a gun, they had to wait for a police sniper but the old man died by that time. Don’t mess with wild boar.

It’s all well and good to hire police to protect the public. But sometimes circumstances just won’t let you wait for the police to bail you out of a hairy situation.

And really, that’s the point of our Second Amendment.

Self-reliance. Self-protection. Self-preservation.

From whatever threat you happen to be facing.

Because real danger isn’t patient enough to ‘wait until help arrives’.

The men and women in law enforcement that serve and protect us are commendable, but the response time means that they don’t get there when the bullets are flying.

Are you willing to wait 20 minutes for the police to show up?

It’s an issue that needs to be discussed within our churches and addressed by our church leaders.

We need some righteous badassery in the church to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our brothers and sisters in Christ from the preventable evil in this world.

We need to Obey Jesus.

Including what he said in Luke 22:36.

He [Jesus] said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.

If a person looked to Scripture and paid particular attention to the passages within the Bible that address the topic of hunting, then they’d walk away thinking not only is hunting animals tolerated but it is endorsed by God. And that’s exactly what this little book is about: proving that God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting. I’ll go out on a biblical limb and claim right off the bat that you cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scripture is against the responsible killing and the grilling of the animals He created. ~Doug Giles
