Mad Maxine probably doesn’t even have sense enough to know her backside was just handed to her by a lady who outclassed her by about a thousand percent.
Maxine was on her usual rant about everything being about race, again. On the floor of Congress, she played the race card against Rep Mike Kelly.
But on Neil Cavuto’s show, Alveda King hit back with something Maxine has little grasp of … facts.
She said Maxine is on ‘the wrong frequency’.
“The skin color thing, trying to equate a person’s skin color to their race,” Alveda said, adding that Rep. Kelly is actually “right when he’s saying the nation needs help, the nation is in trouble.”
Quoting MLK, she said we must learn to live together as brothers (she added and sisters) or perish together as fools.
(So, we know which path Waters has opted for.)
Alvida King continued… giving us the reminder that all our blood is red, that we are ‘of one blood’ and that ‘skin color does NOT the person make’.
It’s so refreshing to hear people talking like that again. Instead of the endless bleating of victim politics looking for people whose feet they can lay blame at.
Then she went into the real kitchen-table issues that really matter to people.
Having a job to go to in the morning. A roof over your head. Food on your table kind of issues.
Take a couple of minutes to hear the interview yourself. It’s so wonderful to hear people talking about hope and good times again.
Previous administrations made big promises about all the hope and change that would eventually come. This President has actually delivered some. You know, because you can hear it in the way people are talking.
Even the Democrats, acknowledge it, when we hear them arguing about who should get the credit for it.
Right, guys. Blah, blah, blah.
We know the drill we heard that song for eight years. Anything good in the country was the direct result of Obama. Even the Obamaphones. Anything bad was laid at the feet of Dubya’s administration. He didn’t even know about it until he read about it in the paper. It’s real ‘leadership’ from behind.
Heads we win, tails you lose.
That game got old. So we elected one who was results-oriented.
