Personal safety is ultimately a personal responsibility, even more so when the other side ramps up their level of crazy to ‘aggressively obscene’.
For all the pre-election talk about how ‘evil’ and violent’ Trump’s side is, have you noticed how many “Trump supporter” attacks were hoaxes, and how many Leftist acts of violence are actually real?
If that claim surprises you or if you need some citations to give to that obnoxious leftist coworker who thinks it’s “progressive” to dye her armpit hair, we ran through some examples of each in this recent article:

Their hatred for all things ‘Trump’ has gone from being a generalized disdain for anything right of Stalin to a seething and very personal hatred of specific people with an (R) after their name.
We saw it with the Restauranteur who not only threw Sarah Sanders and her family (including some Liberals) out of her restaurant but crossed the street to heckle them in a completely different restaurant.
We saw it with Mad Maxine Waters calling for groups of angry people to confront those who support Trump, wherever they may be found… including doing ordinary things like buying gas.
Dead, decapitated, and burned animals have been left on the doorsteps of private homes, and specific threats have even been uttered against the Children of politicians and law enforcement officials — whose personal information, incidentally, has been made public.
Angry mobs were gathered around private homes, to disrupt and intimidate, over differences of party policy. And Liberals cheered that as a good thing?
In an event that had literally NOTHING to do with politics, we saw that even when the police arrive on scene in only sixty seconds, those sixty seconds were more than enough for the bad guy to do his damage.

So, rather than put themselves in a situation where they’ll be helpless for those first few minutes, waiting for rescue, conservatives have done what we’ve always done. Argued for the right — and responsibility — of self-defense.

The police can’t be everywhere all the time.
