Dear CNN: N. Korea To Shut Down Missile Site – Can You Say, ‘Stable Genius?’

First Trump was going to trigger a nuclear war. Then he got ‘duped’ by Kim. How will Trump’s critics spin THIS good news?

From the beginning, Trump was only ever ‘cautiously optimistic’ about the negotiations with North Korea. But, unlike so many others, he WAS optimistic.

He never promised results on the Korea file. But he did promise to TRY. And for a country that has seen no reconciliation with its neighbor in over 60 years, that’s a big deal.

After a bit of a diplomatic hiccup over the summer, where critics assumed the worst and declared the Summit a failure, Trump’s officials kept at it.

We are now seeing enough signs of progress that others have begun to share in Trump’s cautious optimism.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has agreed to shut one of the country’s main missile testing and launch sites.

He signed a pledge to permanently close the Tongchang-ri facility, after talks in Pyongyang with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in.

Both leaders also “agreed on a way to achieve denuclearisation” on the Korean peninsula, Mr Moon said.

Mr Kim said he hoped to “visit Seoul in the near future” – he would be the first North Korean leader to do so.

China has welcomed the outcome of the inter-Korean summit, saying both sides had found “new and important common ground”.

While rabid partisans at home are looking for ways to undermine and discredit the President, including calling him mentally ‘unfit’, Trump has been methodically going down his ‘to do list’ and getting things done.

And some of the things he’s checked off aren’t just impressive…

… the critics swore they were impossible.

Pretty good results for a chaotic madman kept on a short leash by White House insiders, eh?

His critics in the Media(D) couldn’t POSSIBLY have their narrative wrong, could they?
