Dick Durbin Says The GOP Is To BLAME For Chicago Violence – James Woods Takes Him TruthCity

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) has decided to blame the constant gun violence in Chicago on the inaction of Republicans in Congress. James Woods schools him on why that claim is ridiculous.

On Saturday, the Democratic senator from Illinois shared an ABC News story about 19-year old ‘anti-violence activist’, Delmonte Johnson, who was shot in the chest and later died in hospital. Johnson was standing outside of a store in Chicago’s South Side when he was shot.

It is indeed a senseless tragedy.

Durbin decided to politicize the death of Johnson to score political points before the midterms.

Classy.

Durbin seems to think that the only thing that will stop the gun violence is gun control, and the big, bad Republicans won’t take a stand and repeal the Second Amendment.

Never fear, actor James Woods called him out on his stupidity.

Woods is right on all counts. The last Republican mayor of Chicago was William Hale Thompson who served from 1927-1931.

Chicago’s current mayor, and Barry’s former White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, has recently announced that he is not seeking re-election likely due to increasing political pressure to stem the tsunami of gun violence in the city. So far, the gun control policies of the left have done nothing to stop the near-constant waves of gun violence.

Woods shared his opinion of Emanuel as well.

Perhaps someday soon Democrats will realize that criminals don’t obey gun laws.

What Chicago needs is a good, overhaul of the city with a few Republicans at the helm.

Crime is the issue, and the soft on crime Dems seem unwilling to deal with it.

Chicago needs someone who will take charge and deal with the real issues, just like President Trump did with America’s economy.
