Teen Tyrant, David Hogg, Encourages Foreign Meddling In U.S. Elections – Michael Moore Responds
How bad do you have to blow it to make Michael Moore seem like the voice of reason?
David Hogg got to play tagalong with Michel Moore at the Toronto Film Festival where Moore unveiled his new anti-Trump film, Fahrenheit 11/9.
That’s where somebody made the mistake of giving Hogg the mic.
You’ve heard him spout off some dumb stuff before. And sure it was dumb, but at least it wasn’t felonious. In Toronto, David Hogg crossed that line.
Maybe he really IS that naive. Maybe he thinks Canada is one of the 57 States that Obama referred to. Maybe he’s dumb as a post.
We can only speculate as to the ‘why’. But we’ve got the ‘what’ on video.
Moore welcomes ‘the students from Parkland High School’ to the stage… (which somehow neglected to include Kyle Kashuv. But that’s probably because he’s an articulate defender of lawful gun ownership and not another zombie shuffling along in the ‘March For Our Lives’ movement.
It isn’t very long after the introduction and passing the mic over to Hogg that Moore regrets having done so.

“I have a question for you guys: Who’s ready to save America? Who’s ready to make America the country we say it is on paper and make it the actual country that it wants to be? I think the most important thing to realize, however, is the problems we face as a country, whether it be water in Flint, Michigan or the amount of mass incarceration of people of color that can’t vote.”
Someone shouted ‘shame’.
He answered back “turn that shame into a vote … (awkward pause) … if you’re not Canadian”.
Trying to recover that one, he began to make an appeal to funding American elections… but hesitated and asked Michael about whether to proceed.
After making the embarrassing remarks, Moore took the microphone away from Hogg.
Nearly ten minutes later, Hogg was briefly allowed to speak again. He called out to the IRS, which he hoped was watching him speak, and asked them to investigate President Donald Trump for getting “$30 million from Russia via the NRA.”

For all their talk about ‘foreign interference in elections’ they were *this close* to inviting impressionable and (since they were part of the audience listening to these two) dopey Canadians unfamiliar with US law to do exactly that.
At least Moore had the good sense to stop him from making that appeal. He set Hogg straight and swooped into damage control mode.
Of course, being as he’s part of ‘the Resistance’ Moore recovered by taking cheap shots at Trump. (What do you expect? It’s Michael Moore, he doesn’t really have a lot of fresh material.)
