Gunman Enters The WRONG McDonald’s – Armed Dad Sends Him To Dante’s Easybake Oven

It’s the sort of situation where waiting for the police to show up just isn’t an option.

It was at McDonald’s, 10:45 at night, Birmingham Alabama.

They are just closing up, and the manager unlocks the door so a man and his teenage sons can leave. Then all hell breaks loose.

Some loser with a gun picks that moment to make his move, force his way in, and open fire. It was the last dumb decision he would ever make.

The father, who remains unidentified at the time of this writing, was able to return fire on the suspect, fatally shooting him.

Birmingham police spokesperson Sgt. Bryan Shelton said that one juvenile and two adults were injured during the shooting, which is suspected to be a burglary attempt. The unnamed father and one of his sons were injured but are expected to recover.

“Right now it appears the [suspect] made a decision that cost his life and the father made a decision that preserved his and children’s’ life,” Shelton said.

Witnesses said 8 or nine shots rang out, and people, children among them, began fleeing the restaurant.

Two more shots rang out, and it was all done but the First Aid and the paperwork.

A few innocents were wounded in the attack, but the wounds were reportedly not serious.

An employee who ducked into the freezer when shots rang out was interviewed:

“I’m feeling grateful,” Washington said. “Wrapping my head around it all, I was just wishing someone would come wake me up from this nightmare.”

He added, “He’s my hero. Because I can only imagine how it would’ve went if he wasn’t armed. We might not be here having this interview.”

This dad didn’t just protect his own kids, he protected everyone else’s kids, too.

Imagine if there were people like him on site at every situation where some fool opens fire on some innocents.

Or at least enough of them to make the would-be shooter think twice about risking it?
