Press Charges: Kavanaugh Accuser Swetnick’s Vicious Lies to Congress Must Be Prosecuted

Even though Brett Kavanaugh is the newest justice to the Supreme Court, the nation and especially those who respect and follow the rule of law must focus on the vicious lies to congress lodged against him. Justice Kavanaugh was more than an innocent victim, he was a target of baseless cowardly political assassination from liberals, rabid feminists and accuser Julie Swetnick’s uncorroborated claims against him. Under federal law she must be prosecuted.

For far too long, liberals on Capitol Hill have been allowed by congressional Republicans to let witnesses and even its own members lie and savagely attack innocent nominees, whose only crime, was to be conservative or Christian or both. Nominees of President Trump have been targets of the liberal attack organizations, and false accusations have been lodged against them with no evidence, background information or FBI investigations to support them. They have been given a pass.

The time to allow bygones be bygones is over. The full weight of the Department of Justice must be unleashed on these professional liars to show America the free lunch days to hurling scurrilous accusations in sworn statements to congress or made to the FBI in background investigations is over.

What former Brett Kavanaugh, his family and the nation was forced to endure was far more insidious than the “high tech lynching” that Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee put Justice Clarence Thomas through in his 1991 confirmation hearing. Kavanaugh had to defend his life, his reputation and the very essence of who he is when lie after unconfirmed lie was hurled into the cesspool that defines mainstream media.

As each accusation was made against him, the make-believe media took their marching orders from Soros-backed feminist organizations that heralded the lie and worked to strip away the very Due Process and U.S. Constitutional protection of “Innocent until proven guilty” which is the foundation of the American justice system.

That pile driver effect was driven deep into the Washington D.C. swamp by Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. Chief amongst these morally deprived Democrat committee members was Diane Feinstein who held professor Ford’s letter for six weeks, until she or her staff leaked her name and the letter to the Washington Post.

In fact, it was Feinstein’s purposeful deception that allowed lies to take root against Kavanaugh from an accuser who could not remember when or where the alleged assault occurred, who witnessed it, at what time it occurred, what month, what location or even how she left and who drove her. In other words, she lacked credibility and her letter of the alleged attack was never offered to the FBI for investigation by Feinstein.

Of course, this is what Feinstein wanted. Her goal was never the truth. She wanted this unproven assault to be her ace card, and it allowed the Soros-backed machine to unleash new and even more treacherous attacks, including Julie Swetnick’s claims against Kavanaugh.

But it was Swetnick’s unfounded claims that broke the back of the justice system, because not only were they so far beyond the pale, but the nation began to doubt her due to her attorney, Michael Avenatti, who also represents porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against Trump. As the howls of injustice began to rise in Congress by congressional Republicans who insisted that the FBI fully investigate her, she appeared to walk back her sworn statements in an interview a week after lodging the false claims.

Now that Kavanaugh is on the court bench, those false claims that she made or any attempts by others to falsify claims and official statements made to Congress under threat of perjury must be fully investigated.

The laws of the nation should not be treated as if they were some joke that liberals ignore because they know there are no consequences for their actions. There are federal regulations for perjury specifically and lying to the feds generally which Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell should utilize. Under the United States Code, title 18, section 1001, a person who knowingly or willingly makes a material statement that is false, or fraudulent, to the feds, is guilty of a crime. It appears clear that Swetnick lied. Therefore, the full weight of the DOJ must be used to ensure that she and anyone else like her will never again misuse a congressional hearing to lie, and destroy an innocent person.
