Watch her duck and weave as she tries to make it LOOK like she’s answering the question while leaving the big one unanswered.
During an episode of ‘The View’ Stacey Abrams tried to seem like ‘one of the people’ with her gun rights position.
She comes from a family of gun owners, you see? She’s gone shooting in the past herself — skeet shooting, for instance.
Abrams even worked in a little disarming joke about why she herself isn’t a hunter (“cuz’ I mostly eat chicken, and that just seems mean”).
But in the midst of all this ‘aw-shucks’ spin, notice the big question put to her directly that is left unanswered. After she says that she supports a ban on the AR-15, Megan McCain asks the key question:

“By banning it, you would be rounding them up. It’s the most popular gun in America, 61% of all US Civilian Rifle sales. Will the government be rounding them up from civilians in Georgia that own it?”
Watch how she dances, leaving that as a question to be answered by someone else.
Who really cares if she bought a gun cabinet as a gift for her dad and has shot an AR-15.
If you’re making a case for banning the most popular rifle in America, you at LEAST need to have thought through how exactly that policy is going to impact America, up to and including the possibility of having the government confiscate these guns.
Easy for her to say. What about the poor shmuck of a government employee who gets stuck with the job of telling someone with a Molon Labe tattoo that he needs to hand over his rifle?
But She’s one of the people, don’t you see!
