And now, after Democrats didn’t get the outcome they hoped for in the FBI investigation, they are pushing for more. Here they are harassing Senators in a hallway.
We have already seen Lindsay Graham mocking the ever-shifting goalposts, when they demanded a polygraph test on Kavanaugh, he mocked them with a reference to medieval witch-tests:

Senator Orrin Hatch — who evidently hasn’t died, no matter what fake news Google has reported about that small detail — was done being civil.
This is fantastic.
Here, he treated the children and their tantrums with the contempt they so richly deserved.
Can you imagine he didn’t take thier ‘cordial’ invitation to discourse seriously?

The days of Republicans cowering for fear of what a devastating media report might do to them are over.
The frog and the scorpion parable that so long described Establishment Republicans jumping at their own shadows is over.
Will it last? Too soon to tell.
But for now, if nothing else, the game in Washington just got a lot more interesting.
