Dear CNN: Cops Bust 7 ILLEGAL Aliens For Assisting Illegal Alien Cop Killer – Is That ‘News?’

The Cop-killer was making a run for the border, and his buddies were helping him evade the law.

We covered the tragic story about the murder of Officer Singh — a legal immigrant from Fiji — by an illegal alien gang member from Mexico while Singh was conducting a traffic stop on Christmas night.

His family, naturally, are devastated.

His Sheriff minced no words in saying where the problem lies:

“We were prohibited — law enforcement was prohibited because of sanctuary laws and that led to the encounter with officer Singh,” Christianson said at Friday’s news conference. “The outcome could have been different if law enforcement wasn’t restricted, prohibited, or had their hands tied because of political interference.”

Christianson never said when Arriaga was arrested, but records show — and officials confirmed — that he was picked up for a DUI in Madera County on June 5, 2014 — years before the state’s sanctuary law prohibited local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.

He was a known felon. He had a gun and gang affiliations. He murdered an American cop — a LEGAL immigrant, no less! — and other illegal aliens were helping him flee back to Mexico.

Seven other Illegal aliens were arrested as part of the manhunt.

California law enforcement officials arrested seven additional suspects connected to alleged illegal alien cop-killer Gustavo Perez Arriaga last week — all of whom are purported illegal aliens — for allegedly helping him evade capture.

“Police say, in all, seven people are in custody, accused of assisting the suspect in evading police, including two of Arriaga’s brothers and his girlfriend,” ABC News reported on Saturday night, according to NewsBusters. “Authorities telling ABC News, all of them — as well as Arriaga — in the U.S. illegally.”

Authorities arrested Bernabe Madrigal Castaneda, Erasmo Villegas, Maria Luisa Moreno, Adrian Virgen, Erik Quiroz, Ana Leyde Cervantes, and Conrado Virgen Mendoza.

They weren’t part of just “ANY” gang, either. This isn’t a couple of punk kids selling weed in an ally after school. These guys are into some sick stuff.

The Surenos gang’s tentacles have spread from Southern California to other parts of the U.S. with members engaged in a number of crimes, including murder, extortion, narcotics trafficking, prostitution, human smuggling and robbery.

“It’s an umbrella group here in Los Angeles, the Surenos gang — ‘Surenos’ is Spanish for ‘southerners’ — but it’s the street gangs that affiliate with the prison gang the Mexican Mafia,” an Immigration Customs and Enforcement Special Agent in Charge Claude Arnold told ABC 7 Los Angeles in 2014.

…The Mexican Mafia, with about 250 members, has been described as a powerful syndicate formed in the style of the Italian Mafia. Surenos members take orders from the Mexican Mafia.

One observer on Twitter pointed out something interesting: Notice how none of the usual Leftists are asking how an illegal alien with a criminal record got himself a gun?

Of course not. Because it doesn’t advance their gun-grabbing narrative.

Connection to a Mexican Cartel, eh? Can you imagine the S**tstorm that would be unleashed if the gun was traced back to that “Fast And Furious” gun-running debacle that happened during Obama’s scandal-free Presidency?

At this point, we still don’t know where he got the gun that murdered Officer Singh, other than ‘not through legal channels’.

The Left is barely touching this story. Because from every conceivable angle, it makes them look bad.

It reminds us that there really IS a difference between legal and illegal immigration. It reminds us that ‘racism’ is not the only possible explanation of why we want an enforced border and an end to Sanctuary Cites. It reminds us that the Left’s priorities are the interests of people who might want to enter America, while the right is concerned about the well-being and interests of those who are already here.

Because it really doesn’t matter how many times you deport the bad guys if the can come right back in whenever they please.
