DISGUSTING: Young Boy FORCED To Drop His Last Name ‘Trump’ Because Of Jack@sses At School

In normal times, sharing a name with the President of the United State would be pretty cool for a kid. Not in the Trump Era.

Joshua Trump, an 11-year old middle school student from Delaware had to change his name because of years of bullying. It got so bad that his mother, Megan Trump (no relation to the President) and her husband, Bobby Berto, pulled their son out of school and homeschooled him for a year, hoping that once he transitioned to middle school the teasing would stop. Unfortunately, the bullying escalated once he began at Talley Middle School in Wilmington.

The mockery that Joshua was subjected to began in 2015 when Donald J. Trump announced his intention to run for President.

It has since escalated to such aggressive and troubling levels that officials in the Brandywine School District have allowed Joshua to use his father’s surname.

“He was getting ridiculed and bullied for the fact that his last name was Trump,” father Bobby Berto told the station. “I pulled him out of school and homeschooled him for a year.”

Joshua’s parents had assumed that the bullying would subside as their son moved into middle school, but those hopes were soon dashed, they said.

“They curse at him, they call him an idiot, they call him stupid,” the boy’s mother, Megan Trump, told WPVI.

Talley Middle School’s principal, Mark Mayer, said that the administration was aware of the problem and teachers have tried to not say Joshua’s last name.

“I do know the teachers were aware of the last name, and I know in speaking with the student that the teachers do their very best to try not to say his last name,” Mayer said.

That’s their solution?

Because censorship is better than dealing with inappropriate behavior?!?

What the heck is wrong with these people?

Way to make Joshua feel like it’s his fault and not the mean kids harassing him for something that he doesn’t have the power to control.

Oh, but once they were caught, they were disciplined and said that they were sorry.

Five students were identified during an investigation into the bullying claims. They have been disciplined, Mayer said.

“They were apologetic and they did say that they were sorry,” he said.

So everything’s all hunky-dory now that Joshua has changed his name and the bullies said sorry, right?

Well…

Still, Megan Trump is worried about her son’s mental health in the aftermath of the meeting with school officials, which didn’t completely stop the bullying, she said.

“He said he hates himself, and he hates his last name, and he feels sad all the time, and he doesn’t want to live feeling like that anymore, and as a parent, that’s scary,” Megan Trump told WPVI.

Scary? That’s terrifying. Kids have done some horrible things because they were bullied. Look at the tragic tale of 9-year old McKenzie Adams who killed herself because she was bullied for having a friend who was white.

Gee, I wonder why kids were relentlessly teasing one kid with the last name Trump?

Could it be the negative press and mockery that is hurled at our President constantly?

They question his legitimacy as President because of the yet-to-be-proven claim of ‘Russian Collusion’, his intelligence, his fitness for the office, and even his weight. Despite all their anti-bullying rhetoric, the leftists are the bullies.

Is it any wonder that kids would think that bullying is ok since that’s what Media(D) outlets, celebrities, late-night hosts, movies, tv shows, and athletes do now to anyone named Trump? Just look at how the Media(D) and celebrities treat Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and especially Melania. They mock her for her clothes and bully her for her anti-bullying campaign. It’s reprehensible.

Children are impressionable, and the Media(D) has been irresponsible in their constant bashing of all things Trump. It’s a good thing that this story came out after the Media(D) just named themselves Time Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’ as yet another way to bash President Trump, otherwise it might make them look like self-obsessed jerks.

But hey, #BeBest!

Nevermind. They won’t cease looking like self-obsessed jerks anytime soon.

Speaking of self-obsessed jerks…

Since our former President went on and on about how he was bullied as a child because of his ‘big ears’ and ‘funny name’, and how understands what it is that bullied kids go through, maybe he could advocate for Joshua Trump.

Then again, he did bully the only other black student in his grade at his middle school, a little black girl named Coretta, so perhaps he’s not the best advocate.
