Facebook is just a ‘platform’. They don’t control any speech at all… except for speech that disagrees with their ideologies, of course.
As much as it was a personal tragedy for what sounds like a real stand-up guy, Cpl Singh, even his Sheriff pointed to the role that Calfornia’s Sanctuary City policies played in ending his life.
It’s hard NOT to notice — during this partial Government ‘shutdown’ — that we’re looking at a Microcosm of the very ideological conflict that’s leading to the shutdown in the first place.
The sheriff leading the investigation blamed California’s sanctuary law for preventing local authorities from reporting Gustavo Perez Arriaga to U.S. immigration officials for two previous drunken driving arrests. If he had been deported, the sheriff said, Cpl. Ronil Singh of the tiny Newman Police Department would still be alive.
“We can’t ignore the fact that this could have been preventable,” Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson told reporters, asking why the state was “providing sanctuary for criminals (and) gang members. It’s a conversation we need to have.”

It’s a fact that Law Enforcement officials are making on the record. But it’s not one that the Zuckerberg Borg will let their users discuss freely. (So much for ‘a conversation we need to have.)
Arriaga is an illegal immigrant, has self-promoted his status as a member of the Sureno street gang, and has two prior drunk driving convictions in Madera County, Sheriff Christianson said.
“This suspect, unlike Ron – who immigrated to this country lawfully and legally to pursue his lifelong career of public safety, public service and being a police officer – this suspect is in our country illegally. He doesn’t belong here. He’s a criminal,” Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said during a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

So, how is Facebook reacting to the outrageous murder of a legal immigrant killed in the line of duty as a police officer?
Blue Lives Matter has confirmed that Facebook is taking actions against Facebook accounts that call a cop-killer an illegal immigrant.
Corporal Ronil Singh was murdered within 100 miles of Facebook’s headquarters, but the company appears to be concerned about anybody pointing out that his killer was in the country illegally.

Facebook has their Priorities, after all. But don’t ask Zuckerberg any personal questions about ‘walls’. The one he built around his expansive estate in Hawaii generated some really bad PR.
Zuckerberg’s lawsuits have prompted a backlash from locals who place the billionaire within a long, painful history of western conquest and Native Hawaiian dispossession.
“This is the face of neocolonialism,” said Kapua Sproat, a law professor at the University of Hawaii who is originally from Kauai. “Even though a forced sale may not physically displace people, it’s the last nail in the coffin of separating us from the land.”
“For us, as Native Hawaiians, the land is an ancestor. It’s a grandparent,” she added. “You just don’t sell your grandmother.”

Let’s recap: Walls to help keep gang members and criminals from sneaking into America unopposed are ‘bad’. But walls to keep people who’ve lived on the land for a gazillion generations out of Zuckerberg’s newly-acquired backyard? That’s different.
Zuckerberg can’t just have ANY random riff-raff waltzing through his property, can he? Oh wait — that’s exactly the same point we’ve been making about defending America’s borders, isn’t it?
