Russia’s Building A New Nuclear Base … In The WESTERN Hemisphere

Russia is looking for ways to project its military power, and they’ve found themselves a sympathetic state in the Western Hemisphere.

Is Bernie Sanders going to rethink his praise of Venezuela NOW?

Because it’s THAT failed state that is letting Russia use one of their Caribbean islands for their military purposes.

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who’s the banana republic now?

This follows news earlier in the month that the former-Soviet state was planning to set up its first military base in the Caribbean after striking a deal with cash-strapped Venezuela.

Venezuela’s socialist president Nicolas Maduro did not object to the proposals, according to Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta.

The deployment will represent the one of the largest postings of the Russian military in the region since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.

Under Venezuelan law, military bases cannot be established by foreign nations in the country, but a temporary deployment of warplanes is possible.

With Socialist Venezuela suffering from hyper-inflation under Maduro, they’re hurting for money, and Russia likely sees them as low-hanging fruit.

Should we really be surprised that Bernie’s values align with Russia and our enemies?

Not really.

The man honeymooned in the freaking Soviet Union.

And for all the talk of ‘Russian Collusion’ — there are more reasons to think the Democrats are linked to Russians than the Republicans.

The same Kisliak that Flynn is taking heat for having taken a call from was sitting among the Democrats during Trump’s Joint Session in Congress speech. And the list of sketchy connections to the Clinton camp for each and every accused ally of Trump is too well-established to be easily dismissed as circumstantial.

If Trump weren’t so busy dealing with people in his own country trying to undermine national security or setting him up for impeachment, Trump could give his full attention to addressing threats like this base.

But Democrats — and also Democrats with Press passes — have different plans.
