This Painting Of Trump As BRAVEHEART Will Not Be Liked By The Left

Written by Wes Walker on January 8, 2019

What one word describes the conflict between today’s right and left better than ‘Freedom’?

And why did We The People put Donald J Trump into the highest office in the land, if not to protect that very freedom from the all-consuming appetite of bigger and bigger government?

We sent him to Pick A Fight.

Remember that critical speech from Braveheart, where he calls his people for a gut-check?

Sons of Scotland. I am William Wallace. Yes I’ve heard. Kills men by the hundreds and if he were here he’d consume the English with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse. I am William Wallace. And I see a whole army of my countrymen here in defiance of tyranny. You have come to fight as free men and free men you are. What would you do without freedom? Will you fight? Aye, fight and you may die, run and you’ll live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all of this, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they’ll never take our freedom!

Isn’t that what we sent Trump to do?

Isn’t that why we chanted ‘drain the swamp’?

Isn’t that why he’s slashing red tape and taxes — so that Government can get out of the way, and free people — whether individuals or businesses — can give the double middle-finger to the scolds who told us ‘you didn’t build that’?

Biden claimed that Republicans wanted to “put yall back in chains”. But in two years as President, he’s proven the opposite.

Trump came to take the shackles off so that the world could once again hear the Roar of true American Freedom.

This debut of artist Doug Giles’ latest piece from his MAGA art collection — called “I’ve Come To Pick A Fight” — celebrates that heartbeat of what made America Great in the first place…

Freedom.

More specifically, a free people.

A free people whose hearts and minds are truly unleashed to run down their unique dreams of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
