Like so many spoiled children, she handled it badly.

Socialism is bad for you, and you’re not getting it.
Did you catch that glorious part of the speech? Ok, it wasn’t worded exactly like that. But it got the same idea across:

And Occasional-Cortex found her way to Rachael Maddow and MSNBC to drop some anti-Trump rhetoric to an audience that’s been fed a steady diet of anti-Trump rhetoric.

She later told MSNBC that Trump launched the ‘ad hominem attack’ to distract from his failings on issues such as securing funds for his wall on the Mexican border.
‘I think he sees himself losing on the issues, he sees himself losing on the wall in the southern border, and he needs to grasp at an attack and this is his way of doing it,’ she said.
Does she even KNOW what an ad hominem attack is? Or is it just some smart-sounding new lingo she picked up on the interwebz? Because pledging that America will not become Socialist is NOT an ad hominem attack.
She’s also playing amateur shrink again.
Badly.
She assumes the President is ‘scared’.
She hasn’t learned the difference between a bark and a bite. Just because a Chihuahua can fill a room with its noise, doesn’t mean anyone sees it as a threat. She’s a Chihuahua.
Trump never got to where he is in life by running away from Chihuahuas.
Alexandra has been in Washington all of fifteen minutes, does she really think, just because the Media talking heads and those deep-pocketed activist buddies love her (at least for now) that she’s really running the show?
Has SHE got a lot to learn! There’s a REASON that children don’t vote; and that there is a minimum age to be President.
Wisdom is acquired over time. (Unless your name is Bernie Sanders, then you’re just outta luck.)
Peggy Noonan called her on having a poor showing. Rather than take any notes and see whether she might learn a lesson from a respected figure who probably has GRANDCHILDREN her age, Occasional Cortex went straight to the scapegoating.
(Scapegoating is a move NOT typically equated with a mature or measured response to criticism.)

If someone isn’t sure what the President’s targets are, put aside any personal feelings toward the man himself and look at the written text of the speech.
It’s in there.
But people who’ve spent the last two years invested in a strategy of ‘resist Trump’ may have real trouble seeing it.
