Leftism — It’s Getting Mighty Tiresome

It’s not often that one opens the newspaper, or watches the news, only to see something happening that shouldn’t BE happening. Doom and gloom seem to be what some folks thrive on, and then you have to wonder about their mental state. Now, my medical expertise is probably limited to taking the stuff that’s prescribed for me, and that’s about it… but that is in direct conflict with what’s being said about our President. People who have NO medical degrees, or expertise in any part of the medical profession have been calling him names which, if taken seriously, would mean that America is being run by a mental midget, with all sorts of psychoses and maybe even a congenital liar! None of this is true, of course, and they should not be passing themselves off as knowing something of medicine. It’s getting mighty tiresome.

I grew up thinking the Police were the good guys, and the vast majority of them are… but not all. Whenever I can, however I can, I back the blue because they’re out in front of whatever bad stuff is going down. So it pains me something awful to have to read about police personnel doing something bad… really bad. This incident happened in Cincinnati, Ohio in the Lucasville prison. Four black men were chained to a table in Lucasville prison while a single white man was allowed access to a knife and brutally stab them. Yes, you read that right. The two officers, who watched from behind a door, laughed as four inmates were brutally stabbed in June of 2017, according to the Federal lawsuit. The cornerstone to the lawsuit is the surveillance video showing the horrifying event unfold as four men played cards only to be repeatedly stabbed by a psychotic and violent white supremacist. The suit claims the victims’ civil rights were violated, including that they suffered cruel and unusual punishment because of the prison guards’ inaction. The four were strip-searched before being chained to the table where they began playing cards. A white supremacist was chained to an adjacent table but managed somehow to open the lock on the chain and began stabbing the four with a knife he had hidden on his person. The guards were “slow” in responding and getting medical help for the four men. As the men are bleeding from their stab wounds, one of the guards says, “We should just let them die.” So much for “Officer Friendly”, which is what we were taught in elementary school, cops were our friends.

October 20, 1981, Judith Alice Clark participated in what has come to be known as “the Brinks robbery” in which three security persons were killed. She was arrested in October 1981 and convicted of felony murder for her role in the crime and has been in Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in New York, where she was sentenced to the maximum penalty allowed by law, 75-years-to-life. In December 2016, after extensive public and legal support, Clark was granted clemency by Governor Andrew Cuomo and her sentence was commuted to 35 years to life, making her eligible for parole. She was denied parole in April 2017. She was granted parole on April 17th, 2019 after spending 38 years in prison. The guards are still dead, but Ms. Clark is alive and free… and what is interesting about this case is that Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez urged that cop-killing terrorist, Judith Clark, be paroled. Why? What was the interest in this case that brought Ms. Cortez to her defense? Because at root there isn’t much difference between the two women. Cop-hating rag of record the New York Times is once again grotesquely trying to peddle the story that Brinks Robbery cop-killer Judith Clark is now a “reformed person” who deserves the parole Andrew Cuomo just orchestrated for her. “Ms. Clark, 69… evolved during her long incarceration from a left-wing extremist to a model prisoner known for good works,” the Times lied today, so wrote Tina Trent, who went on to say, “I wrote in 2012, Judith Clark’s purported prison house “good works” are no such thing: they are the same leftist extremism repackaged for a dumber generation of Times subscribers.” Curiously, in 2012, the last time the Times tried to spring Clark, they did so on the grounds that she was still a radical, but a… radical for good. Then, the headline read: “Judith Clark’s Radical Transformation.” Yes: they actually made a pun about killing two cops and a security guard. It’s getting mighty tiresome, this dumbing-down of our population… but apparently we’re not going to do much, if anything, about it.

Mount Holyoke College, which sounds like a good place to go, has made the headlines… but not for a good reason. In fact, reason seems to have taken flight and left the campus entirely! The campus Chief of Police, Daniel Hect, has been placed on leave after students confronted him about supporting President Trump. Students dug up tweets from Chief Daniel Hect which showed he thinks favorably of Trump, likes the National Rifle Association, and supports a Mexican border wall. The snowflakes felt “threatened” by a liked Trump tweet. I NEVER thought I would live to see the day an American could get fired for supporting the sitting president.

Parting shot: Any speech, it seems, will be subject to scrutiny, and make you vulnerable!
