It’s that she’s got a bigger mouth than even Maxine Waters, at the same time that she makes Sheila Jackson Lee and Hank ‘Guan Capsizing’ Johnson look like Mensa cardholders by comparison.
She insists on injecting herself into every conversation without having the foggiest clue about what she’s talking about most of the time.
Now the Native New Yorker is trying to tell Georgia how they should run things in THEIR state.
Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blasted an anti-abortion bill that was passed by the Georgia governor on Tuesday, calling it a “backdoor ban” on the procedure.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday signed the “fetal heartbeat bill,” a measure that makes it illegal to have an abortion after a heartbeat is detected in an embryo. This typically takes about six weeks.
“‘6 weeks pregnant’ = 2 weeks late on your period,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter Tuesday night.
“Most of the men writing these bills don’t know the first thing about a woman’s body outside of the things they want from it. It’s relatively common for a woman to have a late period + not be pregnant.
“So this is a backdoor ban,” she added.

For context, this kicks in within days of a typical at-home test working.
If you were sexually assaulted (stress delays cycle), took a morning-after pill (throws off cycle), or have an irregular cycle, you‘d have no idea.

Because that baby isn’t a part of “the woman’s body” — that’s a whole other body according to biology and this nifty thing we call DNA.
So, anyone out there want to handle AOC’s appeal to “biology”?

If a woman had “no idea” if she was pregnant why would she get an abortion? These bills ban abortion after the heartbeat of a baby can be detected by ultrasound, which is around 6 weeks. A big step forward for the protection of human lives, especially the most vulnerable.

Sorry AOC, you don’t get to have it both ways. You either have Federalism or you don’t.
If New York and Vermont can go ‘all in’ with abortion laws so extreme that they are only shared with five other countries on the planet — including North Korea and China — then the American Experiment ALSO allows Georgia to move the ball the opposite direction.
Crack a book once in awhile and maybe people won’t be so quick to write you off as an ignorant mouth piece for someone who knows more about politics than you do.
