‘Her double-taps are awesome!’ If you’re on the cast of the newest John Wick flick, you need to know your way around a gun… and her skills are solid.
Hollywood gets a lot of grief about being filled with fakers pretending to be people they’re not and know things they don’t. Choreographed fight scenes, disarming bombs, feats of athletic prowess, leading a bayonet charge, swinging a blacksmith’ hammer — normally we don’t think they ACTUALLY know any more about how to do these things than the extras in Apollo 13 did about how to run their respective engineering consoles in NASA’s command center.
But sometimes you’ll see ‘the talent’ put in the time and energy to really master a skill set.
And Halle Barry has obviously spent her share of time on a range before today. Watch her put on a clinic for how to get the job done:
Confirmed: Halle Berry is unstoppable. Check out this behind-the-scenes training video from Taran Tactical Innovations and don’t miss #JohnWick3 in theaters and IMAX on Friday: https://showtimes.johnwick.movie/

There’s enough footage to know she has consistency, and didn’t just pull off a lucky shot or two. If she ever faced a situation where her life depended upon her skills with a firearm, she’d be in good shape.
And if you’ve somehow missed out on the John Wick franchise, here’s the trailer for the new one:
You’d think with all the firearms training Hollywood puts in for their big screen spectacles, they might be a little more open to the idea of private citizens (who can’t afford a private security detail, or a gated community) having the right to defend themselves from threats.
It’s unclear what her personal stance on the Second Amendment is, but we can say this much…
If every woman in America had the training she has, and if most women carried, we’d see a lot fewer female victims of violent crime… and in those cases where there IS a violent confrontation, chances are, the would-be rapist would be taking a dirt nap.
Which is what we like to call a ‘happy ending’.
ClashDaily.com’s, Editor-In-Chief, Doug Giles how-to book:
In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
