Uh… say what now? How does a fistfight escalate to murder?
Two chicks got in a brawl on the NY Subway — and only one lived to tell about it.
(Tell us more about that’s the fault of that ‘toxic masculinity’ we keep hearing about.)
CC footage captured the beginning(?) of the brawl in which hair was pulled and they didn’t even stop to put down what was in their hands.
And for one of them, what was in the other chick’s hands made all the difference.
Blink and you’ll miss it, but you might notice the left side of the beige shirt has darkened with what is (most likely) blood before they break apart at the end. She was rushed to the hospital after the altercation, but it was too late, the damage had already been done.
Latanya Watson, 30, was killed after becoming embroiled in an argument with another woman on a 3 Line train as it arrived in Brownsville, Brooklyn, on Monday night.
The fight then became physical as it spilled out onto the busy platform at around 9.15pm.
Surveillance footage shows the two women make their way through the turnstiles, before they grab each other by the hair and scuffle.
…The attacker, wearing a white t-shirt and tattered jeans, is pushed up against a wall, before she appears to be pepper sprayed by Watson.
The assailant then brandishes a small knife, and can be seen jabbing the weapon into Watson, who clambers off several seconds later.
Late on Tuesday, police arrested 20-year-old Mia Simmons over the attack.
She has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon.
It’s believed that Simmons and Watson were strangers to each other, and the cause of their fight remains unclear.

We’ve used the comment ‘that escalated quickly’ before, but this is a whole other level of ridiculous rage.
If more of this is what awaits us in the future promised in the Green New Deal — that’s one more great reason to say…
How were these women raised that ANY disagreement between them ended with one headed to jail and the other to the morgue?
