The demonization of ICE just had a serious setback. While putting the former director on the hotseat, Mr. Homan made his accusers look like chumps.
It wasn’t just one Democrat, that got ‘rekt’ either.
Let’s start with AOC. She seemingly hasn’t met an ICE agent that she doesn’t think is the devil himself.
She got her chance to question Mr. Homan but had more than met her rhetorical match.
She tried to paint him as a bad guy for signing a particular memo.

What point was she trying to make? You’re separating parents and children, so you are a bad man. Homan made the very obvious point that EVERY law enforcement action — including arrests for DUI or domestic abuse — separates parent and children.
That put her back on her heels. But she wasn’t giving up that easily.
Those arrests involved a crime. Seeking asylum is not a crime.
Then come to the lawful point of entry and seek it. These people crossed illegally and broke the law in the process. That literally IS a crime.
But her questions didn’t sink to the lowest of lows in attacking and insulting public servants who had served for decades in law enforcement. It took Dem Rep. Garcia’s unfounded accusations of racism and disregard for human life to hit THAT particular low.
He stepped in it big-time. Accused him of racism and not caring about the deaths of people who didn’t look like him. ‘Have you ever held a dead child’?
Homan wasn’t going to sit there and take that abuse.
This is insanity:

Homan tore him a new one. It was absolutely devastating.
If that’s an example of what ‘oversight’ will look like under these petty idiots, it’s already time to take that gavel out of their hands again.
