Two cops were working harder to keep this fool alive than he was.
Not only was he carrying a knife, and charging at the cops, he was shouting at the police to ‘shoot him’, and ‘do it’.
The video shows the officer yielding ground to his attacker, telling him to drop the knife and break off the charge.
He had no intention of stopping. In fact, even after being shot, he got up again, charged the officer again, successfully stepping behind him and grabbing him in a headlock while still armed with the knife — forcing the other cop to shoot him dead.

It’s a hopeless situation for the cop whose first instinct is to protect lives, not end them. But having his life saved was not part of the plan for the guy with the knife.
He forced their hand by threatening their lives.
Next time you hear someone whining about police use of lethal force when the other guy ‘only’ has a knife, remember this story.
