WTF: Why Is The World Bank Shoveling Cash Into China’s Uyghur Concentration Camps?

Paging AOC and the squad — HERE is your chance to speak out against some REAL racist labor camps, if you’re interested.

The victims are the sort of people they like to champion — they are the Muslim Uyghur in China.

And for bonus points, the story even involves some bankers who are helping China oppress them.

The West doesn’t know a lot about these people, and China prefers it that way.

Here are a couple of photos to personalize the people we’re talking about. The girl on the right is an actress, Dilraba Dilmurat, while the guy on the left is a more traditional example of their culture.

Honestly, if a young woman like her ever became the face of the cause, it just might catch on. So what is at issue?

At least 120,000 members of China’s Muslim Uighur minority have been confined to political “re-education camps” redolent of the Mao era that are springing up across the country’s western borderlands, a report has claimed.

Radio Free Asia (RFA), a US-backed news group whose journalists have produced some of the most detailed reporting on the heavily securitised region of Xinjiang, said it obtained the figure from a security official in Kashgar, a city in China’s far west that has been the focus of a major crackdown.

Of COURSE AOC and the ‘Squad’ be championing this story… right?

Don’t bet on it.

For one thing, it doesn’t put America in a bad light… and what fun is any story that won’t help them do that?

In fact, it goes the OTHER direction and puts Socialism and Communists in a bad light, one that reminds people about how Socialism and prison systems have a very long and storied relationship.

Instead of challenging China over its treatment of the Uyghur minority, the World Bank has just approved a grant of $50 Million for the Government of China, so they can invest in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The “objective” of the Xinjiang Technical and Vocational Education and Training Project is to improve the quality and relevance of project schools to produce students’ skills that respond to the labor market demand in Xinjiang.

The benign and sterile terms of the attached PDF make everything seem like a bland vocational training program.

But do ‘bland vocational training programs’ force people to receive injections of unknown substances that … for one example … cause women to stop menstruating?

Are FORCED STERILIZATIONS an issue the pro-woman left might take an interest in?

Or do they save that energy for railing at a duly elected President in a free and democratic nation?

It makes you wonder, would these ‘woke’ women on the Left take an interest in protesting China — and the World Bank shoveling money at them — if they thought they somehow leverage it to hurt Trump?

Of course they would… in a New York Minute.

And what does that tell us about the depth and sincerity of their virtue?

Surely these labor camps where a distinct people are being forcibly ‘sinecized’ is something upon which Westerners of all political stripe could set aside our differences and actually AGREE on… couldn’t it?

So where is that endless outrage machine of theirs when it could actually do some good? Let’s put it to use and pressure China to stop their policy of imprisoning 100’s of thousands of people.

And in case you weren’t sure whether this whole ‘labor camp’ thing was a ‘bug’ or a ‘feature’ of the socialist/communist system, here (once again) are the words of Alexandr Solzhenitsyn in his ‘Gulag Archipelago’ to clarify:

“In 1933, at the January session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party the Great Leader, who at that time was already computing the number of two-legged beings who had yet to be exterminated in this country, declared that the dying off of the state, so firmly promised by Lenin and fervently expected by humanists, would not come about through weakening of the state, but on the contrary, through strengthening it to the utmost, which was necessary in order to kill off the moribund classes…

This was so unexpectedly brilliant that it was not given to every little mind to grasp it, but Vyshinsky, ever the loyal apprentice, immediately picked it up: “Ant this means the maximum strengthening of corrective-labor institutions.”

Entry into socialism via the maximum strengthening of prison! And this was not some satirical magazine cracking a joke either, but was said by the Prosecutor General of the Soviet Union!”

If AOC is so gung-ho in her desire to SHAME banks into NOT doing business with third-parties providing services for ICE because she claims they are ‘concentration camps’ — could she at least bring that same energy into denouncing globalist bankers who are actually sending cash to a Chinese Labor camp for political prisoners?
