ANOTHER DEM BUSTED: Terry Bean, LGBT Activist, Arrested Over Sex With 15yo & Cover-up

Ed Buck, Harvey Weinstein and now this guy. Why do so many rich ‘woke’ leftists keep landing in hot water? You can add Democrat money guy Terry Bean to the list of disgraced Democrats.

Why is it that a group spending so much of its time pretending to hold the moral high ground is so frequently busted for violating their own moral standards?

Remember the SPLC? They regularly called anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders the Devil incarnate, but eventually, the truth came out that Morris Dees was NOT the good guy he pretended to be. For example: Southern Poverty Law Center Fires Co-Founder Morris Dees Amidst Allegations Of Racism And Sexism

And if that weren’t enough to discredit his moral high ground how about allegations of behavior normally associated with a sexual predator? “Like the multiple times that he attempted to seduce his own step-daughter — including visiting her bedroom twice in the same night with an offer to show her how to work a vibrator?” — Read more: Hey Feminists: Can We Talk About What Your Beloved SPLC Founder Did With His Stepdaughter?

We have seen much the same thing with Women’s March backer Harvey Weinstein, Ed Buck, Eliot Spitzer, Schneiderman… the list goes on and on.

And now we’ve got yet another moralizing activist facing legal trouble.

These are the same stripe of people we would remind you, that would publicly demonize traditional Christians for their ‘shocking’ moral values, a morality which these activists would view as retrograde and deficient.

Terry Bean, the high-profile Democratic donor and activist, bailed out of jail the same day he was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Portland police. His lawyer, Derek Ashton – who was arrested hours earlier – also posted bail and was released from jail.

Court documents say the men arranged a $200,000 payment to a 15-year-old boy to make sex abuse charges against Bean go away.

Bean was arrested on a warrant accusing him of 2 counts of 3rd-degree sodomy — both felonies — and a misdemeanor sexual abuse charge on a case that was first filed in 2015.

Sex with a minor — if convicted — would be horrible enough to write him off as a sick man.

But alleged attempts of obstruction of justice, with complicit lawyers on BOTH sides of the case make it look so much worse:

In court records PPB Detective Jeff Myers said Ashton and the boy’s lawyer worked on a civil settlement.

Myers detailed an elaborate scheme to keep investigators from finding the boy. The boy told the detective his own lawyer helped him hide.

“She told me not to talk to certain people, she told me to go on the run at a certain point,” the detective quoted the boy as saying. “So, if I did testify I was told I wasn’t supposed to get my money. So that’s why I did not testify. And that’s why my attomey told me to go on the run.”

Myers wrote the boy’s lawyer gave him a “burner” phone and cash, and worked to hide him in a cabin in the mountains outside of Portland.

…In that defense motion, the lawyer revealed Deputy Lane County District Attorney Erik Hasselman told a judge in June he had evidence of wrongdoing by Bean and Ashton, along with the teen’s lawyer, and another attorney for a prosecutor’s witness.

“…committed the crimes of bribery, witness tampering and ‘possibly’ money laundering,” wrote Bean attorney Kimberlee Volm.

Will heads roll after this?

Likely not. Looks like the statute of limitations may have come to the rescue of the powerful individuals accused… again.
