An honest media would have taken into account the fact that only Democrats are able to leak Impeachment details with impunity… but the numbers show we haven’t got one of those.
There is one breathless report after another about just how the latest bombshell we’ve heard about impeachment is even worse than the last.
Until we look closer and find out that it’s second-hand information, or the witness did not know of any legal wrongdoing, and so on.
And since ‘parodying’ what others say is fair game now, let’s ‘reimagine’ what Shiff would say in response. “Ignore all that, this is a media show trial, dammit, we can’t be bothered with such trivialities as exculpatory evidence!”
Shiff has got to know by now that he cannot present the sort of case that would have Trump removed from office by the Senate. So his only play is to smear Trump so badly in this show trial that he cannot be reelected.
And he’s getting plenty of help on that front from his buddies in the media. The same ones that are frantically trying to dig up the ACTUAL whistleblower who exposed ABC’s spiking of the Epstein story about raping underage victims are helping hide the anti-Trump leaker. (There’s integrity for ya.)
If you thought the 90% anti-Trump bias since that first year was bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
The latest study by the Media Research Center’s Rich Noyes finds that during the six weeks since Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced the start of the inquiry (September 24 through November 5), the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts have shoveled out 398 minutes of coverage on the Ukraine scandal. Important, yes, but it’s more than three-fifths of all administration news during this time period. It neatly resembles their fiendish obsession with their last fake-news chapter: Trump and Russia.
Here’s what’s truly amazing. The tone of overall coverage was 96 percent negative. That makes the long-running average of 90 percent look good.
The negativity is both bombastic and shameless. On October 29, CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell touted “bombshell impeachment testimony” in her opening tease, then turned to their first report. “We’re going to begin with that damning impeachment testimony today from a key witness.” On the same night, NBC reporter Hallie Jackson also enthusiastically promoted “bombshell testimony” from “a firsthand witness to the explosive conversation that ignited the impeachment inquiry.”
This allegedly dynamite testimony was behind closed doors and there was no audio or video, but the networks sold it anyway.

To put this in perspective, think back to all the times they used those very same adjectives to deep-six the President during that Russian Collusion scandal that turned out to be completely bogus.
The same Left that was so upset when we said that we hoped Obama would fall short of accomplishing what he set out to accomplish — because we believed his goals would cause both economic and cultural harm in America are literally doing everything they can to hamstring the President to prevent him from accomplishing much both domestically and on the world stage.
