In the potshots he took at President Trump on the day Biden first launched his campaign, he made it clear that calling racists ‘fine people’ was sufficient to be labeled a racist yourself.
Be careful what you ask for, Sleepy Joe.
As we can see with the impeachment circus, truth is not so important to the Democrat messaging. They would rather traffic in rhetoric and smears than actual information and policy.
Here’s the problem with that approach. It makes people unwilling to show grace and give latitude when someone digs up statements from your own past nearly identical to the ones you are denouncing in others.
Of course, when you take a closer look at Trump’s actual comments, the cynical dishonesty of the fingerpointing against him is obvious. Within a one-minute clip of that quote’s original footage, you hear his qualifying statement declaring who he does and does NOT mean by the ‘very fine people’ he was referencing.
Biden, on the other hand, will have a harder time explaining away his ‘fine people’ statement.
Remember, this is nothing more than making them play by their own rules. (Alinsky Rule #4, Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.)
By the standards of his own accusing finger, if calling racists ‘fine people’ is enough to make you a racist, Biden himself must be a bigot. Here’s why:

Now, forget what the right has to say about this particular group, let’s look at what the left has to say about them.
A Salon article from 2018 dug up a few problems with that group.
It makes us wonder what exactly it is that Biden most admires about them. Maybe he could explain it to us.
Was it the monument to the KKK they set up in 1926? Maybe it was the pro-Klan book their in-house historian wrote which was “unanimously endorsed” at the United Daughters of the Confederacy General Convention in 1913?
Maybe it was the stated desire of the California Chapter President that:
Every clubhouse of the United Daughters of the Confederacy should have a memorial tablet dedicated to the Ku Klux Klan; that would be a monument not to one man, but to five hundred and fifty thousand men, to whom all Southerners owe a debt of gratitude.
Should Biden get a pass for calling such a group ‘fine people’ while showboating on a cynical lie incorrectly defaming Trump as a racist?
Or should he get roasted on exactly the moral standard he tried to use to destroy Trump?
(And that’s without even referencing any ‘high tech lynchings’ of Black Supreme Court Candidates Biden himself needs to answer for.)
